This page lists every UK development Verta Property Group is marketing right now. Each listing shows the starting price, the deposit or the yield (always labelled gross or net) and the build status, and every scheme has been through our developer checks before it appears here. Investors pay us nothing: developers pay our fee.
The listings fall into three groups:
Most of our stock is in the cities where rents have grown fastest. See every listing in one city, or read the city guide for prices, rents, gross yields and the best areas to buy:
Not sure where to start? Compare the six cities in the best places to invest in UK property in 2026, or run the numbers with our buy to let calculator.
A buy to let property is a home bought to rent out rather than to live in. The return comes from the rent, usually measured as a gross yield (annual rent as a percentage of the price) or a net yield (after costs such as service charge, ground rent, letting fees and insurance), plus any change in the property's value over time.
A completed or tenanted property earns rent from the day you complete, you can see the actual apartment and its tenancy, and you arrange finance straight away. An off plan property fixes today's price, needs less cash during the build and gives you a brand new apartment with a new build warranty, but there is no rent until it completes and the mortgage is arranged close to completion. Many investors hold a mix of both. Our off plan property guide covers the differences in detail.
Each listing shows its starting price, and entry prices on this page currently start from around £110,000. With a buy to let mortgage, lenders usually want a deposit of at least 25% of the price, plus stamp duty, legal fees and mortgage costs. For off plan apartments, the deposit due at exchange on our current listings ranges from about 10% to a third of the price, with the balance paid at completion.
In England, a buyer who already owns a home pays a 5% surcharge on top of the standard stamp duty rates when buying an additional property, and buyers who are not UK resident usually pay a further 2%. Use our stamp duty calculator or read stamp duty on buy to let property in 2026.
Yes. Many of our investors live in Hong Kong, Singapore and the UAE. You can buy in your own name or through a UK limited company, complete the legal work remotely with a UK solicitor, and use lenders that specialise in overseas and expat borrowers. The non resident stamp duty surcharge applies, and UK rental income is taxable in the UK, so take tax advice in both countries before you buy.
It depends on your budget and whether you want income or growth. Northern cities such as Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds usually offer lower entry prices and higher gross yields than London, while London offers lower yields and higher prices. Our city guides compare prices, rents and gross yields for Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Leeds and London.
No. Developers pay our fee, so there is nothing to pay us whether you buy one apartment or several. You pay the normal purchase costs, such as stamp duty and your own solicitor's fees. Read how to choose a UK property investment company for the questions to ask any agent, including us.
